I'm glad you stopped by! The main purpose for this site is to display pictures of the woodworking projects that I have completed and currently have in progress. The construction of some of the projects are "photologged" so you can see how I built them. Along with that, you get a dose of my strange sense of humor and an occasional rant. Frankly, the fact that this site even exists is pretty narcissistic, but if you can get past that little annoyance, you may be entertained. As an added bonus, in the words of Bill Cosby, "if you're not careful you may learn something before we're done." Take your time, snoop around and above all, have fun!

01/04/2006 - The guitars are done! I delivered them to David and Paul Zach on December 30th. I've updated the pages for these guitars to include final photos of the guitars, and pictures from their first concert performance from the day I delivered them. The guitar pages have been moved to the "Completed Woodworking Projects" menu at the left.
I am thinking about doing a major overhaul on my site and taking it in a different direction in the near future. I don't want to give away too many details just yet, so stop by occasionally to see what's up. For you diehard traditionalists, I'll probably keep what I currently have still available in an archive form, so don't worry. Your favorite articles (if they happen to be on this site, anyway) will still be here!
12/08/2005 - Merry Christmas (well, almost!) It's been a great Christmas season so far, and I'm looking forward to the next few weeks. The guitars are through the finishing process, so the only thing left is to install hardware, wiring and setup/adjustments. Check out the updated pictures in the "Projects Currently Underway" section. With any luck, I'll have them done inside of a week. The target delivery date is December 30th in Fairmont, MN. Remedy Drive is opening for Rebecca St. James. If anyone is in the area, come on out and support them, and you might just get a glimpse of a Tundra Man custom guitar!
11/12/2005 - Things are progressing pretty well on the two guitars I'm building. My original goal was to have them ready by Thanksgiving, but due to the finishing process usually taking a minimum of three weeks, I don't think I'll make that goal. I've bumped it out to early December. If you haven't seen the progress recently, check it out! They're in the "Projects Currently Underway" section. Thanks for looking!
10/28/2005 - Once again, it's been a busy month. The good news is I have gotten a little more shop time in the last few weeks as compared to the previous three months. I've made enough progress on the Zach brother's guitars that it warranted a major redesign to their pages; check them out!
10/05/2005 - Well, once again life throws a curve ball which makes one re-prioritize his activities. After I returned from Sturgis, my wife got quite sick and suffered with two bouts of pneumonia and a case of pleurisy, among other things. She was down for a good six weeks, which meant that my shop time was put on hold while I took care of Tundra Boy and all the other household things. But, about a week ago my in-laws arrived for a visit. I took time off work and managed to get a good deal of work done on the two guitars I'm currently building. Check them out in the "Projects Currently Underway" section. With any luck, we'll all stay healthy and I can finish these instruments before the snow flies!
