TestimonialsWhen it's all said and done, what ultimately matters is what the customer thinks about their instrument and experience working with Tundra Man Custom Guitars. Here are some testimonials we've received: Paul Zach, guitarist for Remedy Drive: This is the first guitar that I've played with P90 pickups in it. It is a great change from my Les Paul. I love the tone of my Les Paul, but it is nice to have something more chimey and bright. It works especially good for songs with delay in it because it picks up all the little strumming things that I do. Another big thing I noticed right from the beginning was how light it was compared to my Les Paul. The wood on the front has a really great pattern. It isn't too flashy but at the same time it isn't dull. One of my favorite things about it (besides actually playing it) is the amount of comments I get when people see me play it. I love showing it to people after concerts and letting them know about all its features. One cool feature it has is the piezo pickup. There is a switch on the guitar that can switch from the electric pickups to the acoustic pickup. During shows, I play the acoustic setting through a direct box and it sounds better than any acoustic guitar through our system before. I am getting a stereo cable that will plug into my amp with one of the stereo sides and into a direct box with the other stereo side so I can switch from my electric amp setting to my acoustic setting in under a second. Overall, it is just great having a guitar that I've seen the progress on for months. It is easy to see the amount of work and time that went into this guitar. David Zach, guitarist for Remedy Drive: I own the first Tundra Man baritone guitar. It plays smoother then any guitar I've played before. Even though all the fingering is the same as a standard guitar it is like playing a whole new instrument. I'm still figuring out what role it will play in the live show. I'm working on transposing some of the guitar parts to fit the instrument. We used it a few times in the studio to make choruses bigger. There is a certain quality about this instrument that can't be described; it has to be experienced. It sounds incredible through an amp with a bit of gain on it. Rock on. |
